My turbo bike showed up...no pics till I see it Monday, but   8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
I just got a nice 500/550 turbo Kit in the mail from Carpy. Said it came from a scrap bike on a shelf in his shop when he moved and he sold to a guy in Berkely on E-bay who just needed the frame .   8)  8)  8)

Also ran around, paid some bills and started a nice fire in my shop burner and knowing a storm is coming just went home to spend time with my wife and others. Constructed a nice huge apple turnover fresh and hot for all to enjoy. Yummmy--- Bikes can wait-

Hey they're good looking pooches Eric, but how is it that they're both called Corky? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Last night added more of the Acetone/ATF cocktail.  1 & 4 are full now but I think they are near the top of the cylinder.  They would not take the whole 100ml that I put in last night.

Tugging on that breaker has no movement other than what looks like a slight twist in the crankshaft and the alternator nut turning a little each way.

O.K., I didn't ride the bike to work today.  I brushed more than 2 inches of snow off the top of the Jeep.  Got to work, unlocked the gates and pretripped my bus, then sat in the lounge for awhile until the call came in.  School closed! ;D  At least we weren't out on the road and picking kids up like the last time. :o

I've shook the snow of the bike cover three times today and it looks like I need to go out and do it again.  I've been trying to teach Honda to shake itself like a dog so I don't have to do this, but so far no luck. ;D

I looked at mine, forlornly sitting in the garage. It said "Spend money on me, I haven't run for 20 years".     :-\

Is that a 1015 or a 998?

It's a 1015cc by the looks of it, I'm not terribly familiar with the model yet. Looking forward to getting aquatinted with it.

Pulled the clutch cover off and stopped at that crazy nut.  I may work at that tomorrow.  I do not have the tool to get it off.  Wonder if I can get it out with a hammer and driver.  I do not know if I want to grind down one of my sockets to fit it.

Figured I would get that apart and see if the lock is before or after the clutch.  Tugged on the alternator nut tonight, it is not budging.

Unless someone around McKinney has one of those nuts I can borrow to get it off.  I could stand a ride tomorrow.

It's 7:45am Sat. morning and just stepped out in the garage where my KO and K6 750's are parked. But today I didn't just didn't walk back inside, I pulled up a chair turn on the radio and for 30 min. admired both bikes. My garage is not heated so it got a little cold out there, but I couldn't make my self go back inside the house where it was nice and warm. Not bragging on my bikes, but the CB750 in general. The styling, the lines, the eye appeal that these 40 year old bikes have is amazing. You just don't ever get tired of looking at them. 8)
Its only going to be in the low 40's today and quite breezy, but both K's are going to get so fresh air ;D

Purty Nomad........................

Finally made my 750 legal for the road.....got insurance, and tags.

Had to pay penalties for 2010, 2011, and tag penalty.....but, all in all went fairly well.

Only cost me 50 bucks, so now, when I do work on her, I can take her for test runs w/o worrying if the man is going (if he can catch me) pull me over and give me a 500$ fine.

Worse yet, get points added to my license.

But, happy and am now going for a ride........................legally.

Got the basket out today.  Trans spins.  Engine still doesn't.  I was hoping it would of broke loose by now.  Contemplating taking it out and apart.  Maybe i'll give it another week.  It's not like I have money burning a hole in my pocket.  I sure miss those days!

I went for that ever-rare February ride in Manhattan today.  It's only 40 degrees outside but I SWEAR it was snowing on me.

Repaired short in running light. Replaced 14 year old fork oil. Adjusted clutch. Wiped it down. Built a jig so my  floor jack would lift it without bending exhaust. Stared at it for a while and wished it would stop snowing.

Started to swap the rear wheel from my recently acquired project "Evolution" ( http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=100352.0 ) with the rear wheel on my regular ride. Didn't realize I would have to replace two broken spokes! Tuned up the rear brake assembly on the "Evolution" while I was at it, packed the bearings after replacing the broken spokes, and completed the wheel swap. Took the regular ride (now with more tread!) on a shakedown run to get Lotto tickets!
