Gee, Lisa, you were only a couple of miles away from the Sisquoc store that Bob posted the pics of...
We used to ride skateboards down the hills on Tepusquet Rd. at night, with a car following us to light up the road. Great fun!

I haven't seen this website before, very cool.  How many miles, 150?

I don't know how many miles total I think it was more like 200.  I just went on a ride with a group from Ventura and basically I follow blindly....ha ha.  I purchased a SPOT and use Spotwalla to track my rides in real time. It is an amazing bit of technology.

I started a blog for my ride later this month where I am going to go from CA to Carson CIty, across Nevada, into Utah, Arizona and back home...
Here is a link if anyone is interested:

Hi,

I'm Paul and brand new here.  It's a great place to hang out and learn.

I spent last week driving a 76 750K from Minnesota back home to Seattle.  It runs good, but will be fun to wrench on this winter.

Today I rode around in the sun looking at all the pretty people.

Cheers.

Spent a couple hours in the garage. Took the cam cover off and replaced those pesky rubber pucks (finally! I've had them for about two months. thought they were lost for a month, and procrastinated about three weeks). Also replaced a few locknuts on the tappet adjusters, because a few were damaged from the overrev incident. Haven't ridden it yet, but that SHOULD fix my oil-fouling pants and shoes.

Thanks Scottly.  On Tuesday I'm taking the bike to Spokane via Wanatchee to get my work truck.  I don't know if that helps at all.  I'm not sure where it goes next.  Canada?

Stay with it now that it's cut. There was a member who was anxious to swap an engine he was farwarned wouldn't work... He gave up and was never heard from again.

I brought my CB500 to the front of the line for riding and started it up in a flash.  It is ready for this weeks riding.  My cb400 and Ducati Monster 900 (what a bike) will be resting and preparing themselves for the next two weeks.

Rode to the FedEx office and sent off some of the spare parts I've had up for sale. Polished the wheels, and waxed the paint.   Lowered my gauges so they are now level with the top triple. I took some old gold anodized push rod that i had from my shifter kart days and cut it down then re threaded it.  Used that as an extension to move the gauges down  Like this look better.
