next time religious sellers turn up here and tell me they want to talk about god,,ill jump up all excited and say "hail yoshimura"or something else smart like "there is no god going by all the bland motorcycles these days,now get the hell off my lawn!"

Haha, goes to show you Terry that even Christian girls dig a guy with a motorcycle.

I adjusted my chain and went for a ride seeing as it was the start of a long weekend for me, later on I installed a new fender and slim brake light as well as tidying up some of the signal wiring my buddy and PO half assed.
Trimmed the tabs for the turn signals and got them nice and tight to the bike, the old 750 is starting to look nice. Finished painting the side covers I got from Frankenfrankenstuff, I can hardly wait till the emblems are on and they're back on the bike.

So far bead-blasted and painted a bunch of parts.
In between coats of paint started taking apart the CJ360 carbs.
Not every screw is stripped...

Do yourself and the next owner of your bike a favor and invest in a set of JIS screwdrivers.
They are particularly useful on the smaller screws...

Think I'll take out the K5 this afternoon.

i installed a new liquid filled oil pressure gauge ,,,i got this gauge for 9.95 online
gauge # is 88004-M1 , Standard Oil Pressure Gauge for Harley Big Twin & XL Sportster
thats 1/3 the price flea bay was asking..

Just got my bike yesterday. Gave it a good wash. It was parked 6 or 7 years. Don't know what to do next except read a lot here. Sure am glad I was told about this site.

Raised the needle one notch, went up to 120 mains. Haven't ridden it yet but it should be better than it was. Also adjusted the valves. Not due for it yet, but it needed it. Three were very loose (at least twice the spec), and one was tight. The rest were fine or slightly loose. MUCH quieter now

Rode mine with a group to Rockerbox. Another good showing. Then had the privilege of watching the handoff of GZ. Met skam from Madison and grasscutter from Omaha
I think. Good people look forward to it next year. Hopefully I will enter the K1 next year.

Oh yeah, thats Old Scrambler handing off GZ to Sean Barney

That is a good price, just make sure you buy the 100 psi gauge and not the standard 60 psi Harley gauge, or you'll kill it in around 1.5 seconds from startup. Don't ask me how I know..........

OMFG!!! I just went out to the garage to move the other bike in and decided to start up the CL350 just to see if it was a fluke earlier. I'll be damned, I turned on the gas, turned the key, hit the button and it started right up and ran great. I may have to check it again tomorrow to be sure it's not just screwing with me.

Got back from the USA yesterday and then sat down today to order a big bunch of parts for the CB450.

And - after my ride through the Catskills, I am back in the market for a CB750, I did like the F1 I rode but I will probably end up with a late model K.

Took the wife for an 84 mile ride this AM. Her first ride all summer since having the baby. This 750 continues to amaze me with her torque, smoothness and handling. Once was a hate, hate situation is now love!

Did a little welding on the seat for my CB750 bobber. Ran out of welding wire and now I am getting ready for the Mars rover landing this evening!

This is big! The Oddessy orbiter orbiting around Mars will position itself to film the landing AS IT HAPPENS and hopefully that will work. Wouldn't that be great!
Otherwise we can see it about 4 minutes after it actually lands.

So since I am starting my build at the same time it will named project ROVER. Lol..lol

Rode my 78 kz1000 around the block for the first time, still have to do a proper carb sync but it sure has some balls! Need to pick up plates and insure it, then short rides till I see what else needs attention. I'm stoked about this one!

Here's pics of the painted side covers I got from frankefrankenstuff, emblems back on. Real happy with them and the way they came out, they will get a bit of pinstriping to match the flyscreen I painted.

Here you go Terry, some pics of the KZ1000. Needs a ton of cleaning and a few small things, needs new rubber before I go anywhere far or fast. Speedo doest work and the tach mounting bracket is broken.
