Been busy with the 750 today. Painted my trailer hitch, adjusted my chain, replaced the oil line to the crank case and FINALLY replaced my shocks for a set of short shocks. I fit so much better now!

Sanding 30 plus years of rust then primeing, and then painting my trailer hitch for my CB750. Don't know yet if I will use or mount it, but IF I do, it will look great.

Piute thanks for sharing, I just got some bags for my 750, and a hitch was a must have. Plans are to powder coat the frames and paint the bags to match the bike. I like the red lights on your bags I may have to find some of those. On a side note, I like your signature. Cool! ;)

Picked up and carried the motor to my place from my father in laws.  By myself.  I do not recommend this technique.

Got started on the process of putting new sprockets and chain on the KO. On vac. all week so go plenty of time.

Where did you order your sprockets from and what size are they?

Z1 Enterprises. Always get good service. Jeff is a forum member. Wasn't sure about the correct part# for rear sprocket so I PM him and he took care of it. Had both sprockets on my door step in a few days. Also talked to Rob nice guy also. 17T-45T.

Considered putting any more 550 work on hold to buy a fun project car.

Cars considered were:

E30 325i
E24 635CSi
1st/2nd gen Miata
240Z
4th gen Monte Carlo SS
5th gen El Camino SS
C3/C4 Corvette

Then I snapped back to reality and told myself I need to finish this damn thing.

I think a well restored 240Z would look perfect sharing a garage with a couple of mid 70's Hondas.

I think it would too, but all the 240zs around here are made of rust or (price like they're) made of gold.

Swapped the old 750 bars to my wife's CM400.  Do you know, you have to remove the carbs to loosen the throttle cables on her bike?

Warmed it up, rode to the corner and back, so it will start easier in the morning for the ride to work. Our prime riding season is starting soon!

took the wife on a little 40 mile ride this evening.  Somewhere around the 20th mile the bugs came out, and that is where we turned around and headed back... ouch, i wish i had a fairing, thankfully we both wear full face helmets.

Midnight bugs taste the best.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.
