I'm glad to see, I'm not the only one running wide open pipes. Looks like the 4-2 exhaust I have.

They've got a great sound to them. I wasn't sure at first, I do however get lots of looks from law enforcement and I may start looking for a back up system just in case.

I'm thinking of buying some small baffles, to see what that does.

The law pretty much leaves me alone here in Augusta. I do try to run it as quietly as possible thru the hood at 4:30, 5 in the morn though.

Rode about 200 miles today (speedo is a little off, hard to say for sure). 3 hours free roaming on back roads, then went on a Toys for Tots rally on a whim, won a small raffle, and got some good photos of the bike. All on a beautiful sunday. And I mean beautiful.

Put the polished covers on the K2 project bike. [dirty from the install in the pic]

Then did a mock up of the fairing I got from WillbFun.
It won't be going on the K2, will go on a future CR build.

Then took the K4 for a fun little ride...

I did too many things to mention to the CJ360T this weekend but I finally ran out of excuses not to put the motor back in the frame.
Pretty much the hard work is done and it's time to reassemble. :)

220 mile ride for the local D.A.R.E. benefit.  My a$$ is sore...  The route was only 170 miles, but i live 25 miles away from the start.  Blew the brake light bulb and didnt have a spare (had a couple single filaments however), pulled one of the front blinker bulbs to replace it.  I figured the brake light was more important.  Hour later blew the main fuse.  Upon further inspection noticed i had accidentally put a 15A fuse in the tail light spot instead of a 5A, which is probably why the bulb had blown earlier instead of the fuse.  Replaced that with the appropriate fuse, and replaced the blown 15A with a 20A for good measure, and it ran good the rest of the way.  Guess now i need to find out why the main 15A blew... oh boy fun with electronics.

589 bikes on the ride and only 2 SOHC4's, me and my father in law.  In our little motley crew we had 2 CB750's, a BMW R75/6, a 600 somethin Ninja, a 1200 Sportser, and a goldwing trike.  Most bike in the ride were v-twins though

I removed the front and rear fenders from my K6 to clean/polish them, and I got to say for being 35+ years old they look pretty good besides a little rust where they mount to the bike and a dent on the rear part of the front fender.

I tried to have a nice sunday ride in the city but my bike didn't start... again. couldn't fire it up.

I had a new battery and my mechanic says that it has a charging or another electrical issue that causes to eat the battery, and not run as it is supposed to be.

I am sad that I need to spend good amount of money to get back on the road again.

ha ha..i have a veaknes for bad honda modells..have already a cbx 1000...nov i only need a cx.. but please give us the komplet list..so i can get the last modells ;) think the brown seat  modell vas the worst mistake honda ever made

Ha ha, well I quite like the CBX mate, particularly the twin shock models. They weren't the best bike that Honda ever made, but they were a nice looking thing, and I still remember the cover of the Two Wheels magazine with a pic of two CBX's wheelstanding at speed, it just looked awesome!

But the worst Honda's ever made (in no particular order) are as follows:

a. VF750, (all)
b. VF1000F,
c. VF500,
d. VT250,
e. CB500T,
f.  MVX250F

I'm not talking about minor faults here, while Honda's had their fair share of minor problems, I'm talking about bikes that were so poorly engineered, that Honda should have recalled them all and refunded everyone's money, and then had these pieces of crap melted down.

Being the masochist that I am, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on an MVX250, but the rest of them were just so bad, even I couldn't find space for one, unless I was in a really charitable mood, and the owner begged me to take it off his poor misguided hands.......... ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Terry and Dave, how can the same company that made and designed the legendary CB750 sohc4 a near perfect motorcycle and one that changed the bike world forever and still 40 + years later it gets rave reviews can put out such bikes that get such bad reviews and you here nothing really good about any of them. I guess the same way Ford had the Pinto and Chev. had the Vega.

Changed the oil in the Goldwing rig, then packed the wife and rode an hour to catch a train.

Rode the train

Got robbed

Watched the Marshal get our money back and run them rustlers off!

Returned to the station and watched 'em put the train away.

Amazing the adventures you can get into with a crank case full of fresh oil!!

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Removed the HD clutch springs from my 550. I had a painful right hand after about 40 miles.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.
