I only received one quote from the two places that do coating near me. Unfortunately this was from the place that does NOT offer ceramic coating. They have a "ceramic-like" coating that supposedly is a good thermal insulator and they will coat the outside AND inside of the pipes for $200. Sounds a bit high to me...but that includes cleaning, degreasing, and blasting the rust off the old pipes too, so labor may make it just about right.

I hope to hear from the REAL ceramic coater soon and get their quote.

Finished braking in new BT45s. Wow, I would never believe I could feel the difference with new tires.

Also put in 7 heat plugs just to test them - the idle speed fully warmed jumped 400 rpm. I will go back to heat 8.

A guy here in town found my Craigslist List add for my titled CB750 frame. I was asking 100.00 bucks,we talked alittle and it so happens he wrenches on these ol bikes and asked if there was something I needed for mine. I joked and said a 4 into 1 exhaust. Well here's what I traded. He says its a Kerker, there are no markings and no baffle, but I do believe him. He knows his stuff, and has a very impressive collection. You guys be the judge. I think I did well. You might be wondering what use he has for the frame. He's mounting a Tracey body kit to it. Very kool piece!

Went on three test rides. The first two rides she struggled to hit 60mph; on the third ride, with a clean #1 spark plug, the little 350F was finally running on all four cylinders and very eager accelerating through 70-80mph  8)  Felt like it might pull through to 100 on the speedo.

That sucks, but thanks for the link! I've been looking for a place to get a new key.

I cut/sectioned/bent/welded my seat rails 2.5" lower today to put my seat at a much better looking angle. Next up is relocating my top shock mounts into the corner of where the rails now meet.
