Went down to the DMV with my Vermont registration and got an Idaho plate, title on the way! Yes I love it when I win.

Stev-o I was just picking up my phone to PM you. Glad you saw it. Worked like a charm :) The lady hassled me a bit about sales tax, I had to remind her that I wasn't buying anything, or selling anything, just moving my registration from one state to another-

So that process still works then. Good to know.

Yeah, thanks.  I'll gladly pay the sales tax if it comes down to it over here.

Hey Steve, I've gotta transfer the rego on the Rocket III from SA to VIC, the "Stamp Duty" (sales tax) bill will be around 600 bucks mate, can you help me out? I promise I won't spend it on beer and hookers........... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

My son came over and gave dad a hand with putting in the engine. He was there 4 hours. We used two jack stands and a floor jack to make a tripod, put a piece of 1/2 inch  thick   press board about 3' x 3' on that. It was even with the bottom of the frame, and we just slid it in. Carbs and air box are a pain in the ass.

The snow is nearly gone.  I got my 400's battery out of the cellar and put it in,  checked the oil, filled the tank,  checked tire pressure and fired her up.  It took a little cranking but she fired up and we went for our first ride of the spring.  Life is good!

Got lots of new parts in, cut my plug wires off a couple inches outside the coil housing striped the wires and soldered in new accel plug wires to replace the old hard and cracked ones, started it up and it runs great. I'd be willing to do this for other forum members if they were interested

Picked up a cheap spot blaster, cleaned the rust off the frame and primed it. A good use of a 50+ degree day. It was really nice to finally be able to work outside.

Yesterday actually, it's Egg Day here in Oz and I haven't left the house yet, except to go buy a bucket of chicken for the family lunch.

Anyhoo, I took the Goldwing for a ride yesterday, it's all legal now, and is going great. It's one of those bikes that you ride for 50 miles, and want to ride 50 more. It's still got an electrical short somewhere which is pissing me off, but once I sort that out, I'll be very happy. Cheers, Terry. ;D

dont worry or strive for absolutely no popping on decell,a random pop pop irregularly is ok,the stock quiet mufflers always soaked that up so no one knew.,but with your pods?
