That doesn't sound good!
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Thank you on the bike. Its in pieces right now. Going through it. Frame is in the process of being stripped so I can paint. Does it look funny with the 4 into 4s?

I like the 4 into 4s.  They stand out nowadays and add good curves.

Thanks I actually saw another member with a 550 that is the same style as mine but finished. I was pleased.

Ordered a set of JIS screw drivers. I am tired of stripping heads using a phillips on a JIS screw and it's easier (and cheaper) to buy the correct tool then to replace every screw on both my Hondas.

Still stripping the frame. I called to get a price on getting this thing blasted but decided I will leave the final clean up to them. Not ready to give in yet, what can I say.

This actually happened on the way home from the slimey crud run a few weeks ago but I didn't get the photos uploaded until now.

My dad noticed that my luggage rack was sitting at a goofy angle. It was pretty easy to figure out what was wrong:

This wasn't completely unexpected because I had removed the rearmost supports from the luggage rack since they never quite fit right and they held the rack too low for my liking.

Luckily we weren't too far from a town so I limped it along hoping that the other side wouldn't break as well. We pulled into a hardware store just as they were about to close. I bought some duct tape (obviously), a threaded rod to shove in the broken pipe, and some zip ties to hold it tight. It wasn't pretty and I had to remove the left sidecover but it got me home.

Finally finally finally got my airscrews adjusted well. No more burbling at light throttle! I can do 2000 rpm in 5th smoothly now. All good. I tried several methods, but what finally worked was taking a screwdriver and going out and riding, pulling over, riding pulling over, until I finally got it as close to perfect as I think I can.

I finally finished rewiring the K6 everything seems to be working right which is surprising. I also replaced the throttle cables, gas cap seal, stator cover gasket, and installed allen head bolts on the engine covers.

Mocked this up before a trip to the welder tomorrow afternoon.
Cone Engineering 18" Quiet Core slip on via DCC.
Great craftsmanship. Baffled,  but fairly open.  Wonderful mellow growl.
No jetting expected.  I was already a little lean in the mid range.

Fark! That's one ugly arsed F! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I have to agree with you, Terry.   I cannot take the credit for it though, but could not pass it up for $1K.  Need parts for the Z1, this one needs to go!  CR, think I should list for $3500?!!

installed new plugs caps and condensers on the 550 the other day - she's running a lot better i must say.

also ordered some paint through work for my 750 project:  gonna have some fun this weekend!  i must brag because it only cost me $3/can.

cast aluminum, clear, aluminum, stainless steel (for the frame), and low gloss black.  gonna test them out on samples 1st to see how they look.  this should keep me busy!
