Put a new tire on the F1 today.  Went with a cheap one as an experiment.  Last two quality tires lasted a little over 5000 miles each.  Will try this one out and see what it will do.  I don't hot rod this bike but I sure go through tires like I did on my K1 back in high school!

Candy Sapphire Blue from Yamiya750.... My bike had Candy Sapphire Blue from the very beginning but more turquoise tone. This is closer to sapphire gem stone and look much  better :)

That's what ate up most of the time and sanding sheets. I eventually sped it up a little by sanding them down with 240 grit dremel attachment, but without digging in one spot. Hard to explain how, it was tricky but glad that its not uneven anymore...

I paid a "pro" (begins with "Carp..") to polish my hub.  he did a great job except he didn't take out the scars. Even though they are partially hidden by the spokes themselves, you can still see them or at least I can. I did the same thing and sanded them out, then repolished the sanding.

I couldn't use my K2 gauges (no "Rhino Horn" on the Goldwing top triple) so I used some K4 gauges, but of course they're not a bolt on, so I chopped up the K4 bracket and the GL1000 bracket and welded them together, and am happy with the result.




And similarly, I mated my K6 (?) fender to the GL1000 fender bracket and riveted them together. There's a little more clearance than I'd like as the GL1000 bracket is a tad taller, but it'll do to get the bike thru the roadworthy inspection.



I've still gotta get some spokes to lace the matching Borrani rear rim to another hub, but the guys at Buchanan's aren't being all that helpful, I sent them an email asking what heavy duty stainless spoke kit I needed to lace my Borrani WM5 18" rim to a K1-K6 rear hub, and they came back to say that it depended what the inside diameter of my rim is? I thought that they'd know all that stuff? Oh well, I guess I'll have to do their job for them.......... Cheers, Terry. ;D
I'm 25 (and presumably not broken) and I still prefer comfy and practical.

I went to visit my machines and kicked them all over so they don't get stuck. All good so far.

Since I like to build things, and because I have too much time on my hands, I built
me a genuine "Jim's" version of an updated fuse holder/box. I got the idea elsewhere, but gathered all the parts and did research to come up with what you see here. It's made out of a "metri pack 280" connector to hold the fuses. Had to go to 2 different places to get all the components, but it turned out pretty good. Now
featuring "ATO" style mini fuses. Got crimp pliers from VINTAGECONNECTIONS.COM
The tool should work for ALL connectors on the SOHC4 of any displacement.
And believe me, if you aint got the tool, you wish you did. Excellent price/quality/fast service. I felt so good, I ordered me up some extra male and female 3.5mm Honda
connectors for future electrical adventures :)..Haven't tested it yet. Let's see if I can start a fire....I'll post results ;)
