Going to my garage tonight to prep my bike for a small camping trip upstate ny this weekend.

Also, bought myself some new, stock length fork tubes. I was sick of my 4" extended tubes and crappy handling. That combined with my tapered race bearings, my handling is going to be spot on (swing arm bushings next)!

With that much length, you can install clipon bars on top of triple tree, and still have space to add fork brace up top of forks :)

Had to make a template, first.
The puck recess ID is ~1.01"  A Liberty $ coin OD is ~1.04"
Pin scored and cut w heavy scissors. Dremel down to fit.
Used the first to make the rest.  Cleaned up w emory paper and then 1000 wet.

I'd love to know your packing list for a trip on the CB. I want to have a trip myself as soon as my bike's finished.

Do you still happen to remember where you got your new stock-like handlebars from? I need a new set for mine too.

Got my forks together. Putting the caps on was a bear. Dropped the left one twice :'( I'll eventually replace them with a billet piece or maybe a recessed piece.

I moved the CB to the front of the garage and moved the snowblower to the back. It's still only 3C this afternoon. I need >10C to ride.

Pulled my nohc 2-smoke Suzuki S-32 out of the shed, turned the reserve on, key on, choke on,  one kick and wing, ding, ding.  Nothing like the smell of Blendzall in the morning ;).   Little maintenance and off to ride  ;D ...Larry

...did the next K1 gauge but this time I used repainted covers and the original Honda closing ring, left gauge at the picture. After it I mounted the closing mechanism at the K0 gas tank.

Lowering blocks...did install them backwards?

Getting ready tonight to see if she will start. New gas and plugs, if she runs I will ride this week. Upper 50s, 60s? Then when its cold the following week, oil change, valve adjustment and enjoy another SOHC sunny summer.

I think they are oriented properly. It appears they are missing the loonger holddown bolt that does dbl duty holding the tail of the block down and fixing the chainadjuster blocks in place.

It appears to me to be an unsafe condition.

Are they on a 500/550? They should be layinig right on top of the swingarm with no daylight showing.

Appears it may be a 750 part on a 500/550.
