Replaced the old leaking brake master cylinder with a new aftermarket from David Silver Plus the additional OEM looking cap. Everything on handle bar is new.

New swing arm bushings. Friday evening the back wheel and swing arm came off. Saturday the swing arm was cleaned, old bushings removed, new ones installed, and swing arm re-installed. Sunday afternoon, the back wheel was cleaned, re-installed,  and everything buttoned back up. Then a first seasonal and new bushing inaugural ride. Great weekend.

Wired up my bucket and rear blinkers. Waiting on some reinforced rubber washers this afternoon as per Dream750's suggestion here... so I can adjust my headlight if I need to once it is all closed up.

Also found out that my battery might need replacing... Even after being on the tender for a day, it wiped the battery down just after testing the blinkers and headlight. I stuck the tender back on tonight and I think i'm going to leave it on until bike is ready to be ridden.

Certainly crossed my mind. I will be doing full electrical tests before closing up that headlight.

Certainly crossed my mind. I will be doing full electrical tests before closing up that headlight.

Pulled the side cover off and I had popped the main fuse. I think I had a wire crossed somewhere, and I think it is the Brown/White connection that would normally also power the speedo/tach lights when the headlight is on. I have two female Brown/White connections in my bucket, and only one male, coming from the Throttle side switches. I had switched it last night hoping to remedy my issue, but I had already blown the fuse, and guess what... no spares. Will get tomorrow.

Anything else that can blow the main fuse?

Tracked down and bought a set of NOS 750 oil hoses, can't decide if I should sell for project funding or use them on my bike  :-\ Also acquired two extra oil pump filters, if anyone needs them PM me. Pix on page 19 of my build thread below.

I stuck the tender back on tonight and I think i'm going to leave it on until bike is ready to be ridden.

maybe you've already thought of this but this could also be the symptoms of a short in your electrical system

Anything else that can blow the main fuse?

evanphi,

Unless you are made of fuses, get/make urself a 12 volt light bulb with gater clip leads. Clip the bulb across the empty fuse holder.  The light will shine brightly when the short is active.  Now unplug connectors and wiggle wires until the light goes dim.  Once it does, you found your short.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Thanks for the tip. I was going to also use my multimeter.
