Split my CB750 crankcase to find it was all lovely inside with no surprises.

PO had left me a few up to this point!

Swapped forks left to right to correct the PO's wrongness. I'm guessing he wanted the callipers behind the fork leg. I want them in their correct position, ahead of the fork.
PO had cut and welded the front guard to make it fit. Now I have to find some crappy and cheap guard.

Not much today or yesterday, work interrupted the important work of bike resto :P
I did let the Electrolysis bath have at the exhaust manifold, did OK, the amps have been low in the bath for a few days. I'll poke at the bath and battery charger before I put the tanks in. Yesterday I cleaned up all of those SAAB cams and the bolts for the carriers. More precious bike work lost! :P

After buying the wrong center stand off flea bay, I finally got my correct center stand stand (THANKS BILL BENTON!!) and installed and was able to lube my chain WITHOUT my lift. And yes, it was niceeeeeee!

Well it's a really good thing I got my center stand on because...

Last night my bike got pushed over/backed into and knocked over. Kick stand was crumbled, clutch lever broken in half and most unfortunately my unicorn horn top tree broke. So today I had to put on a 74 top tree (was saving for a different project) and had to leave off my tach and speedo in the meantime unfortunately so I can still ride my bike. I'm not sure what my plan is now. My bikes kind of a basket case (although the engine runs strong and tough). So I'm having a hard time justifying buying a expensive unicorn triple tree.

While everything was off I also upped my fork oil from 10w to 15w.

Sanded aluminum with finer grits, installed all new double sealed SKF bearings on hubs and sprocket carrier, installed nice new master cylinder sticker on my powder coated MC, left hand drilled out stuck speedo cable screw at the drive (anyone have a spare? Please PM me).

I took the 400 to costco and picked up a half gal of cheap vodka. 25bucks - good deals in Costco. I didn't really do anything to old girl except have fun on her.

Well the weather here is sh1t at the moment, winter has settled over southern Oz like a big wet poop and motivation has reached an all time low, but I'm slowly turning a pile of rusty parts back into a bike. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

C'mon, Terry. Melbs is a bit cool, but you should try the National Capital!
Fiddled with my callipers. Looks like I'll need some professional help to make a sealing surface where the banjos will seal. Also looks like I'll have to drill an 8.5mm port deeper and use a 10x1mm bottoming tap to make the Venhill parts work.

Installed a Lucas style tail light, Dyna 5ohm coils and Pamco ignition. After brain farting and forgetting to tap INTO the kill switch line and not just bypass it, it finally cranked right up after actually wiring it up correctly. For being my first bike, it was incredibly easy to do. Still need to get it timed.

After that, I tried to install my 18T sprocket, but the PO had stripped the screw heads on the cover...and then I proceeded to break off two drill bits in it trying to get it out. Oy vey.
