Sold my Kawasaki last night  :o

You had me concerned there for a second, Eric.   BTW, do you have an H1? That is next on my list.
Looking Steve someday for one of those also and an H2 would be cool sitting around. Google Rick Brett sometime. He is a nice guy from England, we have had a couple meets face to face. He bases himself out of the Traverse City area and for years has shipped many container loads of our Kaw triples overseas from the states. He's hittin' the Suzuki triples a little harder now also. Nothing against the free enterprise system but he was ahead of the curve and is very well connected now. Now he also ships customer bikes etc and recently just sent 40 old Honda's over in a bin along with another bin load of Kwackers. Supply is starting to dry up on those Kaw triples pretty bad now except for high price restored bikes from collectors or restorers. Will say if you see a descent original you better make a move if its anywhere near a fair price.
I only have 2 Kawasaki triples, a fairly low mileage KH400 which some people claim are the smoothest riding and a 350 S2 to go along with my 750 and might 900z1 4 strokers.
Hopefully someday my turn will come to find a descent survivor H1 and H2, just never know when stuff pops up..

Even though that add says it been up 6 days I have seen it popping up for longer than that. Make me wonder if there is not an issue of some kind as even though He (Brett)  left recently one of his pickers would have nabbed it or somebody else. He runs adds on CL looking to buy and has many eyes out there
The Muskegon area is around an hour and a half away, pretty close. My hope is too find one generally unmolested with the stock airbox, paint etc and some patina that has languished for too long in storage. Asking for a lot aren't I.  :D

When I was at the vintage auction in Vegas back in Jan, it was the H1's that we're commanding the big bucks relative to book value. Anyone would be wise to snap them up when you see them.

What a mint H1 Trevor. Nice ;) Back in HS in the mid 70's a friend had a Kaw 400 triple and it would haul a$$. Can only imagine what your 500 triple could do.

Yes that is very nice H1, congrats we hate you ;D  . On the H1's the early bikes were the fastest and most wicked and are worth the most. They had to detune them a bit later on.

My H1A vibrates badly, is very noisy, the handling is iffy, the front brake is atrocious, it sprays oil everywhere, it has lousy gas mileage, and it makes everything nearby smell like 2-stroke oil...  it's absolutely wonderful!  The trick is to "ride it like you stole it"!

Took delivery on my "new" K1 and promptly took it for a ride down to the lake on a rare, "cold", [75 degrees] cloudy Sept day.

Thanks again Chewy....

Changing the rear bearings today and put on the new to me rebuilt rear 2 piston calipers with the GSXR rear master cylinder. The rear bearings made the bike feel 1000 times lighter, and the new brakes are very smooth and bite well. Can't wait to do the front wheel bearings.

It was more of a trade, Dhall, sold a K7 last week. I will never catch up to Eric unless he fills that container to send to Terry!

Today I procured a place to work on the bike I bought 2 months ago for cheap(ish) given that these are made of all gold now - this is what was in my head as I got the keys...

Cripes - that's stealing my thunder a bit. How do you embed Youtube nowadays?

Might as well drop some pics of the machine

75K, GL1000 front end, frame's been cut, mechanically a bit of a wreck. All in all I'd rather have the stolen one back BUT... beggars, choosers, so on.
