Got my tapered steering bearings installed, after spending like 3 hours trying to drive the lower race out. What finally got it out was 2 deep impact sockets on the neck (24mm and 21mm) and beating the crap out of it.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

Looks great that coarse flake, those stripes look like their floating on top.
That type of paint has nice depth to it.
Use to have the same paint job back in 1973 on my honda but is was in Green called Wilfire Metal Flake at that time produced by Dulux Automotive Paints even painted the frame with the same colour  8)

I drove the bike yesterday. I've never driven it that late in season before, 29:th of October. +10 to +5 degrees C.
Today raised the needles in my carbs 2 steps richer, clip in lowest groove when carbs still run lean at 4000-5000 rpm.

Needles are tricky. Engine run fine for 30 minutes, then starting to run lean when warm. I finally found out that the needles is the only thing able to cause that, thicker when warm. Lets see if highest position is enough or if i need to buy new carb stuff again. Needles this time with thinner tapering around 1/4 throttle lift or 20-25mm down the needle.

If you're going to keep them low like that, I'd go with the slight upward angle like the stock mufflers.  If you're going to keep them parallel like in your diagram, why not go high up, like a dirt tracker?  Stacking them like that on the low side will decrease your ground clearance, and it looks too "harley"-ish, nowhutimean?!

Ground clearance isn't much of an issue, should be about the same as stock. Parallel or inclined, the most clearance will always be the lowest point on the entire thing. And yes, I know it looks a little like those big harleys with gigantic luggage racks, but I do want them parallel ;)

I rode the 400f. I believe contrary to what the po said, it was the first time since 2008 because that was when the plate expired.

Installed a OEM ignition switch bracket I found on eBay.   Took less than an hour even with needing to move the coils out of the way to move the cables.

Interesting observation, trying to focus my bifocals and the LEDs on my lighted ball cap... pain in the butt!  ;)
