Hey Mark. My K6 had the switch in this location when I got it 2009 and the mtn brk looks the same also. Few years ago I had to resolder one of the leads going to the switch and at the same time I moved the switch back to its original location under the tank.

I have got the carbs reassembled and on the bike now.  Time to tune...

Not only that--judging by the way the frame looks. Very nice. More pics, please!

Hi Dhall

It was only 11 bucks with the fancy flip up cap, figured I would try it for awhile.  The 900F has the switch above the handlebar clamp, it is convenient for the garage door fob.  Butthoonose

I got to do about 20miles on a 76 GL last weekend.  Motor is not running properly but the bike rides nice. Sounds like a rod knock, (PO had just rebuilt the motor) must have missed something important!  :o :)

Installed a OEM ignition switch bracket I found on eBay.

What is OEM? Doesn't look like it to me.

Came in a Honda bag with the markings of a NOS part, but your guess may be right....

I REBUILT THE ENGINE 8)

Powder coated or appliance paint on the frame?
VHT cast aluminum caliper paint on the engine?
Do you have a thread in the build section? Link?

Hi Eric,
I am new to this and can hardly find my way back :P

I am trying to refinish the paint and finishes as they came from Honda.

Enamel on the frame, Engine enamel on the engine, VHT clear coat on the aluminum also engine enamel.

I have tolearn how to publish our work.

All the hardware has been replated and or replaced with nos.  Including the kick shaft, shift spindle and rear brake actuator shaft.

I can never find my way back in this forum.
There seems to be no provision for following subscribed threads besides waiting for someone else to post in one that you have previously posted in. Weird!
For paint, you did a fantastic job on that frame.  :D  I use appliance epoxy paint myself and it is difficult to tell the difference from powder coating.

ITs a bandaid I know, but I save it (the thread in question) as a favorite place. Then I can return to it easily with no search.

It changes to unnotify once you post on the thread, if you haven't posted on the thread it should say notify but unnotify if you have posted.
You may need to go to your profile, edit profile, "turn notifications on"

Thanks fellers, can't wait to get it on the road. Will be putting together whatever small parts I can this winter, mostly the bolt on stuff so I have it ready. Spring is when I plan on the final assembly to begin.
