it is OK to sell k7/8, actually preferable.
Not much love for the late model SOHC 750K's, ay? I'm also not a huge fan, but can't really explain why. What is it that people don't like?
I am not a fan of the tank(it looks overgrown) nor the exhaust(also looks too fat for the bike). All that is in contrast to the earlier models which looked lean and trim for a rather large bike(at the time a 750 was bigggg). I think Honda was trying to make the bike look bigger because street cruisers were all the rage in the late 70's to early 80's. I have had three K7 and got rid of all. However , outside of the early models, they are the smoothest and probably fastest, still don't like them though...Larry
Yep, they are just plain Fugly. Honda's design department lost it's way from the time they released the F, and things just went from bad to worse. They thought the world would flock to buy Fugly F's, and when they didn't, they re-released the K as the K7, which was a flop in the showroom, and by the time that the K8 was released a year later, Honda saw that the old SOHC 750 was a dead duck, so prematurely released the DOHC 750, which was also a flop. It wasn't a good time for Honda, whereas Kawasaki, Suzuki and even Yamaha stole many sales from the big H due to Honda's (temporary) woes. Cheers, Terry.
