Yeah, I love 'em like I love stepping in dog poo........... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Not much love for the late model SOHC 750K's, ay? I'm also not a huge fan, but can't really explain why. What is it that people don't like?

Most are intimidated by them because they are the fastest.  :o  ;)  ;D

Bought my first K8 back in 86'. Now have three K8's, and two F3's (78'). This time last year I had three of each!

I am not a fan of the tank(it looks overgrown) nor the exhaust(also looks too fat for the bike).  All that is in contrast to the earlier models which looked lean and trim for a rather large bike(at the time a 750 was bigggg).  I think Honda was trying to make the bike look bigger because street cruisers were all the rage in the late 70's to early 80's.  I have had three K7 and got rid of all.  However , outside of the early models, they are the smoothest and probably fastest, still don't like them though...Larry

Took the bike cover off, lifted the seat to plug in the charger for the battery. Looked at the chrome and decided it needs a clean....but that is for another day as the next beer is calling.

Yep, they are just plain Fugly. Honda's design department lost it's way from the time they released the F, and things just went from bad to worse. They thought the world would flock to buy Fugly F's, and when they didn't, they re-released the K as the K7, which was a flop in the showroom, and by the time that the K8 was released a year later, Honda saw that the old SOHC 750 was a dead duck, so prematurely released the DOHC 750, which was also a flop. It wasn't a good time for Honda, whereas Kawasaki, Suzuki and even Yamaha stole many sales from the big H due to Honda's (temporary) woes. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Made a small bracket to relocate my Acewell speedo from the left triple tree mount to the center. I also bent it in the middle so it sits flat. Now I can actually see what speed I'm going!

It's blue if I want it blue  ;)  Or maybe orange if I'm feeling that  ;D  maybe 2 blue ones? No votes for the Candy Presto Red?

Guess I can sit each tank on it when everything else is done and put it besides my original blue F. Anyway I'll be away for the next week taking the kid off to Univ of KY for her freshman year so no surprises until I get back.
