Finished up some little details like warning stickers, throttle tension screw,dash/idiot light plate and center stand. As stated many times, that center stand spring is a b**ch!'

It was 113 here yesterday and is 107 right now............kinda like riding with a blow dryer in your face. I'm good up to about mid 80's, after that it isn't fun anymore. Since I came from the mountains I will ride well into the 30's. Went for a ride in 20 degrees once........THAT WAS COLD!!!

Took Dorothy to mountains for the last time.  Tomorrow her plate goes to DMV and she will be parked for future frame up rebuild.

Took it out for my usual daily spin and almost dropped it on the left side at a light  :o :o

SAFETY TIP: Be sure your shoe laces are completely tied and tucked away from the damned shifter and brake levers.

I usually put the bike into first and have my left foot down at stops. Needless to say, I did so without even thinking, slowed down to a crawl, leaned ever so slightly to the left to get my foot down and it was caught badly! Somehow I leaned to the right, inched and inched forward to keep it upright without falling, while not entering the intersection and getting killed. All the while trying to free up my leg. Got just far enough where it was upright and I quickly put my right foot down and undid the damned thing! Tooooo close for comfort, terrible rookie mistake :-[ :-[

Took Ole Blue, my K5 for a ride around Oneida Lake today about 50 miles or so, and let me tell you she rides like a dream.  Just floats along like ridding on a cloud.  At one point I had to check my pulse to see if I was still alive she ride so smooth.  Wonder if this is what heaven feels like.

Nothing.  Huge rain/windstorm yesterday has littlered our nice roads with trees, and soggy leaves.  Perfect conditions for a wreck, so I went salmon fishing with my boys instead. . . 8)
