I got lost in the world of big bore pit bike motors. I want my S90 to smoke everything. A sleeper.

New rubber bits and fuel screen for the new tank, along with some tire-changing tools were ordered. Going to order a new front tire (BT45) in a few days, too.

Added to the collection.. Curse you Craigslist!

'71 CL350 and a '74 550.
I really only wanted the CL but you know..... the 550 was right there!
Both actually run, although I wouldn't leave the yard on them....
The 550 sounds pretty good but I think after some "freshening" up it's going to get passed on.
The PO repainted the tank. It looks....ok. And it has new tires.
Both have new, stunningly cheap seat covers.

The CL350 is stock and except for the side covers and air cleaner totally intact.
The mufflers are solid!
Anyway, they're going to sit for a while until the XS650 is finished.

^Great Hunting and Pick Ranger^ couple of nice collectible bikes. Meanwhile down in the low land where the celery used to grow in Michigan I worked on a 1987 Yammie TT350 I had posted about recently. It had an oil pump issue from the previous owner who tried to put it together. Luckily I noticed it quick on the first start up after I cleaned the carbs and gave it its first go. Needless to say I went back through this man's work, and fixed all his mistakes so far and am happy to report this thing is spurting oil out of all its fitting I tested like an 18 year boy out on his first car date with a girl

Glad I got it or it may have been ruined quickly if not tested .
There is a wise man down in Texas on this forum who says "never believe what the PO says". Anybody have a guess who said that ?

I can't believe I missed that CB550 that Cycleranger bought! Why you buying small bikes? The guy is like 6'6" 275! Gorilla on a bicycle!

The CB650 got a new rear sprocket last night (already did the front one). Chain on, adjusted, and one step closer ready to roll.

Gave it to my wife for her 40th birthday ('76 CB400F).

She was pretty happy with it.

Also made a deal on a '75 CB400F. It's a disease.

Fully cleansed my front brake and changed the bricks and added fresh cobbergrease. Now it is smooth as silk

Torture test: Rhonda had her coldest ride ever today. 45 minutes in -6C, plus a headwind! Can't feel my fingers as I type this.

I look like the michelin man... wool sweater, winter jacket liner, then bike jacket... kevlar, jeans, and then overpants on bottom. Plus the big winter gloves.

What I REALLY need is some of those neoprene hand warmers that cover the grips. Keeps the wind off!

Tackled my charging issue a little and it seems to be working again thanks to a ziptie on the engine alt pigtail. Will know more after the battery is charged again, and I ordered the gasket so I can change the pigtail with the new one that I've had for a bit. Also changed my air cleaner......it was REALLY dirty....hard to believe that I've put almost 5,000 miles on her since she has been returned to a driver.

got this old gasket set from e bay de. ..asbestos gaskets..good old kvality(i hope)

I used my milling machine to pop out the old fork seals. Had them filled with a degreaser water mix. Popped out...and cleaned.
