I dont want to get into too much detail until I hear back from pete, but one of my green signal wires from the unit itself has found a path to one of the black ground wires on the unit. I dont see any external paths, so Im thinking its on the circuit board. Not sure what would cause that, since it was timed and running great until I got home and shut it off, then it wouldnt fire cyl 2 and 3.

Ha ha, well did I mention that there's another CX500 under a tarp in my yard Eric? Hey they might be a slug, but they weren't Honda's biggest mistake..... ;D
I feel better now. I had one little ride on it before the carb issue really went south and so far have not figured it out. I would like to see what they are like to drive. Nice and narrow and feel kind of light.

If you want to PM me about your CX isssues Eric I might be able to help you out, and I'll be discreet............ ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Started some frame corrections but may have to decide the route I want to with either just welding up the screw up or redoing the rear upper shock mounts. Pictures to come in build thread later.

Yeah, I had a set from Slipstreamer, mounts to the mirror hole. They work very well.

I just started up the gurl friend after a 836 top end rebuild.
Oil pressure good and lubricating the cam.  Just need to check the timing, synch carbs and go for a freaking ride!

These are the same idea, but they come with universal mirror mounts so I can mount them further inboard.

Holshot, That's a nice little bike shed you made. Looks like it would be cozy to work on one bike with enough room to store 2 or 3. A smaller unit like that would be quick & easy to heat in the winter.
