When I get connectors like that I wrap it in a rag and spray battery cleaner into the connector body. Wait a minute for it to foam up and wash it out with non- chlorinated brake cleaner then blow it out with the air nozzle. They come out really clean and the metal blades or bullets are nice and shiny.
Once done I apply dielectric grease into each opening on the female connector to keep it working. I can do a complete wiring harness in about an hour. It solves many electrical gremlins.
The battery cleaner doesn't hurt the brass?

Nope, just makes it shiny clean.

Applied for a Collector plate for my K6 even though the newly painted tank has not arrived yet. The current one is quite faded. A Collector plate gives us much cheaper insurance.
A set of 4 into 4 may appear in the near future.

The fading, and a couple of small dings, are all on the top of the tank. Cliff.

I replaced the short pipe from the lower brake hose to the caliper with a new one. Brakes are bot dragging now. The old one was so bent up that it was pulling the caliper out so that the B pad was hard against the rotor. It took awhile to figure that one out.Cliff.

Dragging has to be coincidental, just changing the pipe cant cause it

Just about there.  Need to complete point issue due to possible condenser issue.

I don't think that I have seen a Lotus root, heard of them though. How do they differ from the 300s?
