I finished freshening up the hubs and re-spoking the CB350F today. Most everything on this bike is super clean. The spokes were the worst part. Not much corrosion anywhere
Except inside the tank which I'll be treating this week

I've searched for Gloss 'Chrome'/Silver.. and Gloss Black heat paint for exhaust that will stay-put;I never found it.

I took an electric heater out to the garage to keep my old friend a little warmer: it hasn't been run in a month! I think it might be getting jealous of the 550 that's out there getting so much attention lately?  ::)
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Polished some pieces on the 65 s90 project I got recently . Struggling to find a rear mud guard and stay bracket though. If anyone has parts for these that they would like to see get used let me know . I just got home from 30 months in ukraine trying to decompress a bit . Trying to finish this project and get few rides in before I head back for few months more . Love the forum you all seem wonderful and filled with knowledge . Cheers from South Carolina

Might be able to find a set looking on eBay international sites, the bikes lived on internationally for several years after they were no longer offered in the US and Canada. Indonesia and Thailand sellers sometimes have them.  I was lucky enough to ask a seller I was acquiring some other things from several years ago and he sourced me a good set of brackets and a lightly used rear mudflap. The S90 group might be a good place to ask for leads. They are formerly a Yahoo Group and now use io groups if memory serves me correctly.
Need shots from lower perspective to capture the bike from a better vantage to appreciate it more. A step and one half to the right and 2-2.5 foot (3/4M) lower angle would do nicely...

Wow...cannot imagine what you saw over there, I'm sure it was horrific.
Will not get political on this forum but was happy to hear that Putin is ready to talk.

Gave the '74 550 the once over... checked the tire pressure, oil, brakes, fuel, etc.  Forecast is calling for 47F on Thursday, it's going to feel like t-shirt weather after the last three weeks!  Looks promising for the first ride of 2025.   ;D

Started my K4 750 for the first time since 2001. Fired right up once the carbs got fuel, and idled almost perfect w minimal adjustment till I cut it off.
Amazing. Was it put into storage carefully? E.g. fuel drained, fresh oil, etc., or just parked up?

Uh, not exactly either scenario. Haha. Had a car make a U-turn in front of me and I hit at 45mph. The tank ruptured and stator cover cracked open, so a lot of the fluids drained on their own. I did however drain the carbs before pushing what was left into a garage where it sat covered.

I finished restoring the gauges on the CB350F. They looked fair to start with but there was a lot of smudges and streaking on the inside of the glass. And if I was in there I might as well re-face them.
Last picture is of the jig I use to operate on them.

Found a 2 foot length of 1/2 inch wooden dowel rod and loosed up a sticking float.  Starting the bike usually does the trick, but this one was being stubborn after sitting for several months.
