I attempted it figure out why my bike is idleing high, after changing the idle a few times I think I figured it out. Ive got to pull the airbox and check the rubber boots to make sure they aren't cracked or broken to hopefully fully figure out my problem. But besides the high idle and my crabs needing to be rsynced, I am so happy with my 800 dollar 750f1 purchase.

I havent ridden it far or very long but I have figured out in the short amount of time on my bike what I have been missing all these years, and I love these Hondas so much. In a city very very heavily dominated by people on harleys I love standing out on my old honda.

Today I put in my cam chain tensioner and I picked up a prime set of rims for just $50 so I was shining them up today.

Hopefully tomorrow I can replace my fork seals, and put on my cylinder heads.

Your floor will come up great mate, thats very well prepped, i do epoxy floors fro a living and that stuff goes over virtually anything...Although i still think it will depend on the quality of the product.

Lookin good IC I like that light housing mod.

Well I talked to the guy about the mis sent forks and he's sending another set and the rim and rotors I need... So with any luck I can continue my project soon.... everything else is here having no forks, rim and rotor have been a slight hinderence to putting my dual disc conversion  ::)

I'm thinking flat black with black chrome and tinted signals and taillight on mine... although for now I am settling for gloss black as this is a no budget build and I can't afford the chroming  ;D  You know a thought just occur ed to me I wonder if I painted my chrome with VHT Nightshade and shinned it up if I could get a similar look.  FYI my bike sat for 14 years under a tarp and another 4 with nothing so my chrome is a pitted anyway and half of it was so bad I already painted it to get it to look like something other than rust.  Somehow my original 4 into 4 pipes are just fine though figure that one out.

I drilled the rest of my headlight bracketry and set up the bucket to dry in the sun.
also I ground on my rotors some but they're still out a little. ::) I need new ones.

My bike is black but only because I have a lot of black paint around.
I have an idea for some more industrial/corrosion type colors.

if you're referring to my bike I'm going with white covers.  I painted the forks/brakes black when I got the bike but the paint's not holding up too well, I might strip them again and leave them aluminum but I don't know.

Not sure how I'd feel about yellow, My model bike is the one attached.

I fixed my starter!  For some reason when I got the bike out earlier this year, the starter wouldn't run. I jumped across the two terminals and the starter went, so I knew it was something else. I thought it was the solenoid so I took it out and tried to take it apart, which ended up with me breaking it. It doesn't seem to like to be kickstarted early in the morning, so I have motivation to fix it. A new solenoid is ~$50, so I swiped the solenoid from my KZ750 and put that in. It still didn't work, so I traced it to a bad connection in the headlight bucket.

The starter clutch in my KZ is toast, so I didn't need the solenoid anyway.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

got it just about dialed in now. Dyna installed, timing set, progressive springs up front, clubmans on.  Went for a little 3 mile ride and she screams, handles a WHOLE lot better. ;D

Rode it for the first time since the fall! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  Have to run some Seafoam through it though. Love that sound. All the geezers that saw it smiled. Gotta love it.

350: removed the clutch cover for polishing

750: changed the oil and fixed my leaking carb bowl. Then I rode it over to Johnie's house for a quick visit.

Got most of the wiring re-connected since a complete tear-down. Left side turn signals didn't work but traced it to a loose connection on each one- so much for Occam's Razor.

Hey check where the blinker mounts to the stem might want to double check that for awhile I had a bad ground there it was kinda funny I would tap it and it would work fine after that but until I did, it wouldn't work

Hosted vintage bike night last night.  Had about 25 bikes and riders from the Chicago-land area in our back alley, leading to an eventual visit by the boys in blue.  But they were nice about it, just told us to keep it down and not stay too late.  With the help of one "Big Bob" and many beers, the engine is out of my bike for what will be my first light rebuild.  I am at once terrified and excited by this.
"Yeah, I'm hip about time. But I just gotta go."
