I put the cylinder on the pistons today.
The whole kaboodle was bored out to 1st oversize (+.25 mm).
While I can't remember what it was like before, I don't think I had to put that much effort to turn the engine before, if it hasn't been done right or if I botched the job somewhere I'll loose my mind.

We now have 5 gas tanks for two CL350's dude. An entire parts bike (that would be a good runner on it's own) for her CB650. It has to stop sometime, right?

Right???  :D

I've got 404's on my "other" bike and am quite happy with them.  I plan to put 404's on my 550 when my AWESOME Cheng Shin's wear out!  ;D
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Finished my paper for school and did some yard work then did about 10 miles. Tried some lower octane gas and I don't know what it was, the gas, the nice cool evening air, or just that she knew I needed to relax but I could tell she wanted to RUN! Damn I can't wait till school is out (3 more weeks), then some good runs, got the spots all picked out already.

I rode it (Sportster Custom) to work (here in Las Vegas )this morning even though it has expired CA plates.  My wife's car died Friday night while on her way from CA to NV.  Now she has my Suburban back in CA and I have only my bike to get around.  And now a co-worked tells me it's going to rain in a few days.  Great.

kicked it onto it's side, let some gas drain out then i lit it up and roasted marshmallows on the fire  :P actually, i tried the airtech seat after strengthening with lots of extra fiberglass. then the bastard cracked just past the edges of the repairs! i need a new, really cheap seat.

Hosted vintage bike night last night.  Had about 25 bikes and riders from the Chicago-land area in our back alley, leading to an eventual visit by the boys in blue.  But they were nice about it, just told us to keep it down and not stay too late.  With the help of one "Big Bob" and many beers, the engine is out of my bike for what will be my first light rebuild.  I am at once terrified and excited by this.

Hey im just a few miles from you! Are you part of chivinmoto? Maybe ill see ya riding around some time, when my bike works that is.

I'll find out tomorrow when I pick them up.   :)  It's not the original Flake Sunrise Orange, but rather a House of Color candied tangerine color.  It's fairly close to what it was originally.  It's been faded to almost pink/orange since I got the bike.
