Wished I was done with the dang kitchen remodel so I could get my shop fix... I don't like working with wood. Wait that sounds funny...
My Dunstall clipons showed up for project 13, which will be pretty cool and Hondamans book came just in time for reading while the snow falls!

Dave, is there any advantage to using molasses vs. something like evaporust?  I've had great results with that stuff without letting it sit for weeks at a time.  JC.

Thanks Georg, yeah, that's about as close as I could get to candy blue green, it's a proper candy over silver base and hard to take a pic of in the sunshine as the silver under the blue really "pops". That pic was taken last night about 8 pm. (summer here, kind of.....)

Sadly I've still got one tiny fuel leak at the rear of the tank, so I've drained it this morning and tonight I'll break out the POR-15 and re-seal it. No biggie, I put another tank on it and took it in for a "roadworthy" inspection this morning, and it passed with flying colors.

Ron, none of your excellent K0 parts were used, they'll be used very shortly in my second K0 build, and Frank, I had to use the small tail light, that was another stipulation by the buyer, it had to have the smaller tail light, ha ha!

To everyone else, thanks for the kind words, it's been 6 or 7 weeks of long days in the garage and there are still a few little things to do, but if the weather's nice tomorrow, I think I'll take some time out from wrenching and take it for a ride! (for testing purposes, of course...)  ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

mollasses is about less than a dollar per litre, plus it gets thinned to say 50/50,im in no hurry, two weeks does the job,i like the smell, smells like duff(homer simpson voice).

Installed a new front tire and a new set of grips.  Then blew the eight inches of new snow from the driveway and recalculated the number of days until the roads will be dry enough to ride again.  100 days and counting . . .

Bad azz lookin' bike there Terry. If that came from a bare frame & cases....you must have a good stockpile of parts.
I didn't do anything to my bike today but got poured on last weekend for the last 20 miles of a 50 mile run. Thats the big bummer of running pods......getting water sucked in to the motor. It was starting to bog at the last few miles but didn't quit me.Its all part of the joy of riding.

Fab'd up a shifter link from some 6mm SS rod, and found my horn problem.  It was sticking sometimes. ::)  A dozen blasts later, not sticking. ;) ;D

Thanks Fred, I've been scrounging 750 parts for many years, so I do have a big pile of parts here, I've probably got enough bits to do another 2 or 3 bikes, but after this build I'll have to some more scrounging as some of the harder to find parts have all gone. No biggie, there's always something I need on EBay, it's like a 24 hour, 365 day a year swap meet, ha ha!

And don't be too upset about your pods mate, a little water injection is good for boiling out excess carbon in your combustion chambers, so after 20 miles, it should be as clean as a whistle! ;D
