Stripped the paint off the tank on the K7 project bike, need to get moving on this.

And rode the 550F in the Hill Country, it was a great day!

It's a must to have a runner when a project bike is not quite rideable.

After repairing the exhaust, http://www.spookytoms.com/SpookyTom-CB350F-72-IPR01HAA.html, I finally put my CB350F on my insurance today so I can go tomorrow and get it registered. I have spent the last few weeks since I bought it collecting the handful of new old stock parts needed including the missing grab bar.

Tried to figure out why it wouldn't start. It's looking like I can't figure that out without a new battery $:-\$ On the plus side, one of the maintenance guys at my apartment complex started talking motorcycles with me and ended up giving me a free cover for my bike that has been sitting in their shop unclaimed for months

Beautiful bike let me know how that patch goes mine are no where near that bad but I might have to do something similar soon.

finally got the 73/78 hybrid on the road and i gotta say the 73's definitely faster than the 78 even with factory 4 into 4 its faster than the 78 with 4 into 2

replaced the clutch cable, lost the key, picked the ignition and then it started to rain. i guess i should fix the front brake before i actually road test her. tomorrow its off to the DMV for plates

Performed my daily carpool dad routine and then dropped them off at the sitter. Then rode it to work, it is a nice day for riding!

Faster off the line or top speed? Seems to be faster all around I've only pushed it to about 70mph so far because I have the original 73' tire on it right now and it's like driving with tires made of stone... tonight the 4 into 1 goes on I think

Bought: New 530 non o-ring chain/sprockets, rear brake shoes, a gallon of Motul 3000 20w50, and a Fram filter.

i ran mine out of fuel on accident today.

luckily i was pulling into my local motorcycle shop and he took me to get more.

Waiting for a guy to pull some carbs out to see if they have emulsion tubes in them.

If and when that happens, maybe I will be able to install the carbs, try to start this baby up.

I pushed it home about 1.5miles with a sticky front brake after my clutch cable snapped at the lever. Super bummer, as I didn't get out of work until 9pm and was riding home.

It was a perfect day for riding here today too. Put about 200 miles on the 750 and bought a new tube for the back wheel.

Replaced some gaskets. My bike isn't "marking it's territory" everywhere it goes now! I even cut the gaskets myself!

Ha! You can see my friends old Vespa in the side cover.

Finally got my front brakes rebuilt on the CB650 now at least she is safe to ride just have to upgrade the horn.

Douchebag at the inspection station said the stock horn is too weak, doesn't matter anyway all the cagers around my parts drive huge monster trucks blasting their tunes. Horns don't help much.

Took off my rear wheel to replace the chain and sprockets and found that my bearings have a big flat spot, and my brake hub is shot

The bearings in my nice spare rear rim are totally shot as well, so I'm taking that one to my pop's shop tomorrow to see if we can get the retainer out. Got some great advice from Charlie and Rab at Charlie's Place in SF.

I've been riding my CB650C to and from work since Tuesday. Been about 30-35F in the mornings, so definitely nippy. But the ride home has been a balmy 55F, so much nicer! :-D

Worked on the script again last night. Three coats of white and one coat of black over the top. I will sand that one layer off of the top of the script tonight and hope it leaves nice white letters with nice edges. After that, if that does not work, I am all out of ideas on how to make it look right. Sure wish the script came in white plastic instead of black, it would be so much easier!
