airtech streamlining seat, any one use it?

Good afternoon folks, i searched the site and was not able to come up with any threads about these guys, i am mid build on my 77 750k and im not sure which way i wanna go with my seat.  Has anyone used these guys

i have that seat and pan on my 750. the fit and finish are fantastic. the only thing that i added is when i bolted on the hinges and latch, i put a metal backing plate on the backside to strengthen the seat when bolting the hinges and latch in.

Bucky, thats fantastic news, i think you just helped me make up my mind. One more questions if you dont mind sir, what model year is your CB? i know Honda flipped the seat hindges from the right side to the left side on the 77-78 K models, i want to make sure its not backwards when i purchase the seat and pan.

The K7-8 seat mounts are radically different from the K2-6. If you intend to use this seat design, you'll need to weld K2-6 seat mounts to your frame as well as use K2-6 seat hinges on the seat pan. RR

Or cut off your seat mounts, don't use the holes in the seat, and fab an entirely different system.  it's not like it has to flip up the way a stock seat did.  Do something involving quarter-turn fasteners or straps or something.

i have mine going into the frame.  i tapped a couple holes, and so all i have to do is pull off the vinyl and unscrew the seat.  i plan on installing some dzus fasteners, so that all i need to do is unsnap the seat cover and foam, then 1/4 all the fasteners to pull the seat pan off if needed.  granted none of this is done, but it makes good sense in my head!!   ;D
