Standard Sprocket dimensions?
« on: November 07, 2009, 09:56:54 AM »
I haven't heard back yet(quite a while) from quotes on a custom sprocket to fit my Morris wheel carrier.
The 6 mounting bolts are on a 3.5" center while the center cutout is 2.5".

I'd bet there is  a stock type replacement but no sites list the actual mounting dimensions.
Question is: Does any one know of such a resource?

http://www.jtsprockets.com/52.0.html?&L=0&sel_uid=4201&p=

Check the online catalog at JT Sprockets, they've got measured diagrams for each sprocket they offer. Then find a version that has the correct number of teeth, find out what bike it fits....then head over to ebay to find a cheap stock sprocket.  (or spend a bunch on one of their alloy sprockets)

I got one for my build...(90's nighthawk rear wheel on my 750K3)------wound up being a 530 44 tooth stock sprocket from an 82 CB750F,  $13 shipped to my door for a NOS Honda sprocket, sweet.

Cheers!

Thanks for the offer Fishhead. I'm looking for something in the 52 tooth range.
Still no cross reference >:(
