76 cb750a problem?

carbs jusdt gone through and accelerator pump daiphram relace.good at idle but when in gear wont idle back down after you open up the throttle?WORKS GREAT IN NEUTRAL.CHECK VALVE BAD MAYBE?NEED HELP.

  • CB 750 K0 ( always thought it was a K1!) + CB750K8

The 750A has 2 idle adjusters, the familiar 'knob' in front of the carb bank and a second ' in gear' adjuster between carb2 and 3 ( facing to the back ). Do you have a Clymer Manual on the CB750's?, as it explains well how to balance the idle settings on the 'A'....
