Mario Kart WII
« on: August 05, 2008, 01:09:31 PM »
Anyone play Mario Kart on the Wii?   They added bikes this time and I swear one of them is a Honda.

This is the only image I could find of the bike.  It has a 4 into 4 and cafe style seat.  Looks like just like an old Honda CR?750.  It isn't always pink.  It is whatever color your Charactor is.  Luigi has a green bike.

You turn the controller sideways and put it in the wheel (or not, its up to you) and use it like a steering wheel.  Trust me it works very well.   ;D

You can also use the nunchuks but I don't like that way.

used to play this on the N64. I heard Nintendo completely screwed up this title on the Wii. Maybe its a good thing I cant find a Wii anywhere.

My dad has a Wii, and I played way too much Mariokart when I last visited.  Somehow, I always did the best on the Honda.
One day, I will put up a signature.

I love this game, we just got it.
By the way, Nintendo did not screw this game up at all!  So many tracks from previous versions plus new ones, wifi capability to play up to 11 Other players around the planet or enter your friend's code to play with friends you know personally.
The stupid dog on rainbow road is no longer foiling everyone's plans.
My only problem with any changes they made, is that when you get hit with a weapon you lose all your weapons, so recovery is  much more difficult.
If any of you would like to play, post your mii friend code in this thread and lets duel !   8)
mine is: 3481-2565-9828

oh, and Wiis are all over ebay... I just got ours for $200 + $15 shipping... I lucked out because no one wanted to buy from a zero feedback seller.  I used my Paypal so if it never came I was covered.
I got the system, two remotes, a nunchuck, wii sports, rockband, rockband AC/DC, the guitar, the drumset with sticks and the microphone.   :)
