Well, Easy Rider and the scene where the rednecks shotgun Peter Fonda. I witnessed a fatal bike crash with fire and that scene is just too real.

A long time ago I rented a video called Executions.  It's video of real deaths, like those old Faces of Death videos, except the scenes on Executions are a lot more disturbing. 

That video was the most haunting thing on video that I've ever seen.  Terrible, terrible stuff.  I do not recommend watching it.

True Romance, the scene where Gandolfini is beating the shyte out of Patricia Arquette, brutal...great movie. I never would have guessed that the same guy that made this movie also made The Hunger and Days of Thunder. How weird is that?

While it may not qualify as a great film the scene in Pink Flamingos where Divine eats the fresh dogsh!it is hard to watch.

In the film Eraserhead any scene with the baby is hard to watch particularly the final scene.

Eraserhead is a real head messer - watched it the first time and was convinced I'd fallen asleep in the middle....very wierd.

What about the scene in Man Bites Dog where the guys attack that couple in their own home....the same point you realise you've been laughing along with a serial killer for the first part of the film and it dawns on you like a bolt from the blue. Powerful and very clever film making.

Same when he screams at the old lady, giving her a heart attack, thus saving a bullet...then goes outside to comment on the architecture. fantastic film.

My kids and wife think I'm a whoos when it comes to movies.
I refuse to watch grosse movies. I walk out of the room when
CSI/Fringe/etc etc come on.

Seen enough of that crap in real life.
