Is it just me that gets ticked off when people call bikes that are choppers; 'bobbers' ?

There is a difference in my book. Bobbers have stock frames and are lightened by the removal of superfluous items or by the substitution of lighter items.

A chopper has a modified frame that has been cut and re-welded.

I disagree, both are more of a look than being determined by frame structure, i have seen many nice "rigid" bobbers that were originally sprung framed motorcycles...

Sorry, I should've said; I think Tattdadd has created an extremely good looking bike.

As for starting off by using such a clean example as a donor bike, well...it's not like he chopped up an Egli Vincent or the Triumph Quadrant; there's plenty of CB750s out there. One less only increases the value of everyone else's.

Apologies too for seeming to rag specifically on Tattdadd's semantics, it was more a general observation.

Bike is beautiful. Heck if mine comes half as nice I'd be happy! Nice work. Call it whatever you want, but it's a "cheap", custom, great looking bike. When's the next one?

I pm'ed tattdadd and he said it is a weld on hardtail kit from Kool-Kraft customs. I has a 16" rear wheel 19" front and a 5" round oil tank.

Yeah, I thought that looked like Jeromy Hagemier's work. He was making them as welder's kits consisting of a stack of tubes and parts, as well as a fully welded unit. Sometimes he gets behind in his production, but he does great work.  RR

But let me tell you, for sanity's sake. Get over it.  

It can become as bad or worse than an oil thread.

My pet peeves are the "push-pull" throttle (actually a dual cable throttle as the "B" cable does not push.)

And cafe racers that are just cafe as there is little "racer' to them.
I've got others, but I'm hi-jacking so I'll stop.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I sold that bike.  There is another project in the works,  it's a 79 sportster.  It will be along the same lines (hardtailed and stretched) except this one will have forward controls and apes.  Thanks for all the compliments on the bike!
