I see in http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=312.0 there's a reference to 'the chatroom'. Is there one here? I can't seem to find it  ???

That thread is from 2005 :)

Closest thing we have to a chatroom right now is the South Side Dive Bar thread in the Open Forum.

Chat room was tried and never got much use.  Mainly because we just use the forums as a chat room.

Ahh, I didn't check the date of the post, thanks mystic_1. With lots of members on opposite sides of the globe I can understand how it might not have worked all that well.
