Topic: What is everyone using to clean and polish tanks?

Hi,
I recently acquired an really nice 79 CB750 Anniversary edition.  The gas tank has some surface scrapes and swirling.  I really don't think it will need a repaint at this time, but I was wondering what everyone finds best for taking out those scratches, getting rid of the swirls, and cleaning that bad boy so it shines!

Rubbing compound should work. Depending on how bad it is & figure out what compound to use. You could do it by hand or use a wheel. The put a good coat of wax on it.

I really like Meguiars polishing compounds.  They have a large selection of different levels of cutting power so you can choose the best one for your needs.
