rebuilding my brakes. what kind of grease do I use.

I'm rebuilding my brake calipers and not sure what grease to use. Is engine asseembly lube ok or moly graphite? I know there is specail grease for this application but I was wondering if one of the others that i listed is ok because I don't feel like buying more grease.

Definately not any engine assembly lube or anything that is petroeum based on brake rubber parts.
You're better off to lube the seal & piston with with brake fluid before assembly if that is all you have.

the auto-parts store i went to told me to use standard brake caliper grease, they sell it in small packages for one time application if you dont need to buy the whole tube.

i was taught to use just a touch of white lithium grease.
