Ozarks rider
« on: November 10, 2009, 05:59:47 PM »
Hey all, SW Missouri rider here.
I haven't ridden much; I learned to ride on my father-in-law's Vulcan 1500 but didn't log a lot of hours, just got the basics down.

I was unsuccessful in convincing my wife to let me have a motorcycle for a long time.

I fell in love with the 70s SOHCs and the idea of having a bike with a lot of potential. I watched craigslist for a while, and recently bought a K4 that's been in a barn for 20 years, 9700 miles. It isn't running and needs a bit of love. It's my first motorcycle (hell, motor-anything) project, so you can expect to hear from me often.
