Not sure that i can justify sending my head to the states for a port job (read many of the posts and it seems he is highly regarded though
)May need to find a guy in Oz.
My only concern with going for a cam with higher lift is the need for new springs, retainers, beefed up primary etc.....I am not really after power (Have another bike for that) I just want to make the 836 engine that I ended up with rideable with no annoying flat spots.
I would consider doing more to the engine at a later date but for now have to spend most of the finances on the frame, wheels and tank.
After reading many of the posts it seem the engine can be a bottomless pit for the brave and deep pocketed..
