My "new" vintage drill press
« on: November 15, 2009, 05:40:35 PM »
Picked up this ol'boy up off craigslist. I love it. Its a Craftsman/Atlas from around the 30s or 40s. Very cool, works, really fu**in heavy! Need some parts, thought maybe someone on here might be able to help. I've been sourcing ebay & cl. Any info, parts would be appriciated.

Looks a lot like my "newer" 1954 Craftsman.  Although, it has been in the family since new.  My Dad bought it in '54.  Table saw, too.

And you guessed it, there's a website for 'em;

That's very cool.  I have Delta drill press from the late 30s that I use quite often. I also found mine on craigslist :)
