cb500 clutch missing part
« on: November 15, 2009, 12:14:24 PM »
hi
my cb500 K1 1972 is missing a clutch part...the one is called clutch plate ring.
My question is if this going to make some problem to riding without it?
Thanks

I think we will need more information in order to help you.

Can you post a picture of where the part goes?  Or, do you know the Honda part number for the missing part?

That is only on the very early 500, not normaly a 72. Check the parts book carefully and note the engine number where mods occur
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
