I've got 2 77 GL1000 sitting in line behind my next 78 750. Plan to restore both GL1000 to stock conditions. Currently 1 runs and the other has a locked motor from sitting. Will be trying to free that one up soon.

Peter, is that seat on the blue bike stock?  I have my eyes on a yellow GL on Craigslist, and it has a similar seat.  Just wondering.

No, the seat on the 75 is not stock.
I have aquired a stock seat for it but it needs to be recovered.
Next on the list of things to do.
