Money well spent. Considering what a new bike costs initially you're money in. And while you may be giving up some of the advances in technology that is on the new bikes, at least you can work on it yourself. And you know you turn more heads with her than a cookie cutter fully faired version.

I quit tallying up the costs on top of the purchase price a long time ago. I find I'm a much happier person if I don't!

I find if you do not keep track of what you spend, the woman is less likely to find out and your life will be a whole lot happier! Plus, if she does not know, you can buy more parts then!

In my case, I just have to make sure I spend as much on her bike as well!

Well, I spent my retirement check and have 15 more years to go before
retiring.

Oh Wait! I work for myself, I'll never retire. Nice thought for a moment. ::)
