Hi, I am trying to find out how hard it is to put a '79 650 engine in a '77 750 frame or am I going to be wasting time. Cheers

the mounts are different, it might fit in there though but you'd have to make your own mounts at least.  Then there's chain line and a dozen other issues.

Do you have a spare 650 engine and a spare 750 frame lying around? or is there a better reason?

Tried it..... almost fits, but not quite, might work if you made a few brackets though....

With a competent welder one can fit a chevy 350 a cb750 frame.

ANYTHING is possible with enough creativity(and money or good friends!)
