Absoluetly color NOT black and white. I would like to see a Hardbound book like John Wyatt's for a coffee table book, which I will reference often AND a "shop copy" with cleanable pages.

I would buy both!

HM: As far as pre-pay goes:
When I bot my FJR, I had to commit 100% in February, sight unseen, and took delvery in July.

And I was very happy.

In the summer of 1969 I prepayed with cash to get a CB750 and left my very sorry trade-in at the dealer. When the first 5 bikes came in, the dealer called to give me first choice. Set a price for the SOHC board. Used shop manuals are selling from $25 to $50 and photocopies cost $20 at Kinkos. Put me down for 2 and I have cash in my Paypal account.

I vote color/3 ring. But I will take it anyway I can get it. I cant even imagine the questions I havent asked yet that this book will answer. I am really looking forward to its publication. Keep up the good work, there are many of us out here that love these 500 lbs beasts and could use a color pic!!!

I gave up the bible a few years ago, I've been looking for a replacement...

First of all, I will take one and pay up front.

Personally, I prefer a bound book with color pictures, but a three ring binder is just fine. I also agree with the earlier posts that suggest just shipping the shrink wrapped pages.

HondaMan,

I'm a printer and just want to throw my $.02 in. I bought just about every CB750 manual I could get my hands on when I got started. I definitely prefer spiral or 3 ring binders, and color pictures are far more helpful than black and white. But one thing no one has brought up that always bothers me is getting my shop manuals all greased up when turning pages back and forth while working on a bike. I would like to suggest printing your book on a synthetic paper and possibly clear coating the pages as well. Synthetic paper is very tear resistant and is also oil, dirt, and grease resistant. Clear coating the pages would make them even more so. Just wipe the page off with a rag. If you'd like, I can even give you a price on printing the project for you. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product!

I think there are 5 of the "casting flaws" version left, all here at my house. I'm thinking of them as the "sandcast" versions.

Um...believe it or not, I did that to the first B&W copy that I printed out for proof work in January. All that paper!

Well, after I used it to correct the initial 1,200 typos, we used it to warm up the family room, along with some pine.
