....or maybe Sam you can tell us inexperienced forum tweakers how to move things instead of sunning yourself in the good ol' US of A and drinking all their MGD  ;)

Good evening your Loordship, as the topic starter, you can move your own thread by going to the bottom of the page and by clicking on move thread in the bottom left hand corner, you'll figure when you get that far, any problems, ask SteveD or Bob Wessner to do it for you.
As for sunning myself, It's not stopped pi$$ing down all day >:( >:( >:(  beers OK though.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I don't have much to add to this forum yet but i have read everything and spend just as much time here as in the "regular" forums. I find it heaps easier to access things i am interested in the way it is now. I wouldn't expect this section to have the turnover of the other forums as this is more specialised, Ilike things just the way they are now.... ;)

I truley believe that we are a very rare breed that builds the old cb750's and cb550's in a high performance format. Most of the cb750's
i come across are either stock or a thrashed pile. Nice high performance built cb750's are alot more rare as are the peformance parts
for them. Also it could be that time of year and the economy situation as to the low input on all the posts.  Just my 2 cents.   ;D

I go along with what Mick says and think that this is more of an information section rather than a question and answer section.
There is possibly a lot of SOHC members who are unable to contribute to this section and use it as a reference/information facility only.

I enjoy looking at the high performance area and the builds since it gives me ideas that i'll maybe be able to tackle.
If it was lumped together I'd have to say it'd be tougher to find stuff related to getting these bikes really fast.
Eventually I'll get something that runs, but until then I'll wrench until I make it run.

i gotta say that i find it handy.... This is the first CB750 that i have had, I know nothing about these old motors and what kind of potential they have... That is the reason that i used this spot to post my questions about a hipo/street/strip motor. I knew that the people that i needed to see that thread were going to be lurking through here, and its a little easier for them to see that post.....

i say its a good thing....

It is a good thing, IMHO, due to the fact it lowers the treshold for a lot of people to see there is a wealth of knowledge available.

Well this *IS* a good discussion isn't it ;-)

Naively I assumed that most people wanted to tweak their bikes to perform better, I didn't consider this wasn't the norm....

Sam, it is very tedious  work. I have to sift through several hundred images before I can find some suitable to post. That Wessner guy has the eyes of a hawk.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Brand new to the forum, but the "race only" feeling I got from the sub-section description/instructions had me contemplating where I should post my issues.

I have built road bikes and "track only" stuff, but my issue was in between IMO- What happens if this build goes street legal (I use the term loosely), because it just might.

It is just one of those knowledge base things, I want info from the race crowd, even if it is for a street bike. I felt that if I posted my issue in the "Normal" segment, I wouldn't get the info I was after.....

Anyway, back to work.

This is a great forum and I enjoy it immensely.  My only complaint is that it is enthusing me too much to spend money that I can't really afford.   ;)
