That's why I said you are correct. Once again, you are correct, I am wrong. I stand corrected. I am humbled. It is 130, not 120. Didn't mean to diminish your or any other 650 speedometer.

Well that's more like it then. Us 650's get Nooooooooooooooo respect. J/k. In your defense, the last number on the speedo is 120.

I tend to be a little mathematically challenged. Let me see now, 120 plus 10 equals....... I don't know how you got 130 but I'll take your word for it! Also, I may be alone in this but I do respect you 650 guys.

Just jerkin your chain. The last number on the speedo is 120. Correct. Then after that, there are 2 more lines, just no 130, so you have to use your imagination.

Just don't sprain your imagination getting your 650 up to 130mph!  I've heard it takes a while to recover from an injury like that. ;D

Ain't that the truth. I was once and only once up to 120 on a '75 Suzuki 550 2 stroke I once had. Kin to the 750 waterbuffalo. I was laying down on it, and got mesmerized, sort of hypnotised by the rythmic vibrations coming off the front wheel. I woke up and freaked, shutting it down.

Just performed the 650 cam swap in my 74 550k. I had to use my dremmel to remove excess metal on the #1 and #4 intake lobes. The higher lift lobes were hitting inside the head and not allowing the cam to rotate 360. Just be sure to check that the cam rotates free before you bolt it all up. I guess they do have a interference issue. Figures that i get the one that needs modifaction.

im sure you mean you had to remove excess metal from the head to clear the #1 and #4 intake lobes.  it works a little better the just chopping the lobes down. ;D

Yes the head itself and not the lobe.

I'd venture to say yes.
