Guilty
« on: December 21, 2005, 07:29:38 PM »
I read this and know I've done both:

"I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle."

I am not touching this one with a 10 meter pole.

* Thread hijack alert *

We call them "bargepoles" here.  They're not 10 metres but they're pretty long.

Guilty of neither. When I am riding I am too busy thinking ahead to avoid an accident!

Ride your bike to church..........best of both worlds.

He, he, he.
I'd rather ride a Yamaha than eat worms.

variant of a fundaMENTALIST fave over here 'cross the pond...

WWJD? - what would jesus do? - as in: a question to ask yourself at all times and in all circumstances of doubt or uncertainty...

WWJB? - what would jesus bomb? (my own personal variant, for executive use only)

and now...

WWHD? - what would Honda do? for all us born-again SOHCers!

Guilty of both! But, I try to stay away from second half of the statement. I used to go to an all biker church-which really made you think about riding on a nice Sunday morning as you came into a parking lot full of bikes!   http://www.church4bikers.org/

I used to go for an ultra early Sunday morning blast by myslef on one of my bikes. To be driving and watch the sun come up is about as close as one can get in my opinion. While I don't mind sitting in church, the footpegs are too low on the pews. however, I have never dragged a pewpeg. ;D
