Until now, I never knew how to tell the difference between male and female birds.

Below are the two birds. Study them carefully.

See if you can figure out which is female and which is male.

It can be done.

Even by those limited in bird watching skills.

 I showed it to my wife and she went on and on about how the "jabber jaws" bird has got to be the male.
