Newbie Intro.
« on: November 22, 2009, 11:31:52 AM »
Just wanted to do the right thing and say hello to everyone. I have been riding for about 40 years and can't see myself not riding something... I rode a wheelchair for about a year but that's another story. My first bike was a cub 50 and my last purchase was an 07 busa. I'm in North Alabama and have access to some of the best roads in the world within a half days ride or local within just a few minutes.
I'm planning on getting my 76 CB750K back in running condition this winter. I remember the day it came out of the crate. Life was good, I had a Celica and a 750-4! I also had a 34 inch waist and a head full of hair in 76.
Enough for now, I'm looking forward to help with parts and how to's, and hopefully I can return the favor(s).

Welcome!  Good luck on the restoration, man - a lot of smart folks on here who are happy to help.  I wish I was one of them...  :)
One day, I will put up a signature.

you found the right place. this is seriously the best forum ever for guys with our bikes. so many of the members will go out of their way to help you. even if you have stupid questions. just ignore all the 'try google' or 'that will never work' comments. for every one of those you will get 10 useful posts.

welcome!
