I picked up a 1978 750f over the summer. It is just like the one that I bought new in 1978.
Over all the bike is in great shape. It does have a low charging problem and a few oil leaks.
I have been very impressed with the wealth of information and advice from the members of
this form.
I will try to post some pics in the future. The bike has nice paint (it's the black model) and an orange stripe.
It has a Dyna ignition with the coils and blue hypo wires. The seat has a Saddleman cover on it.
The shocks and front springs are new as are the tires. I bought the bike to be a driver and not sit in
the garage. I am very interested in the alternator upgrade that I have seen on the site
using the vfr 800 setup.
I do industrial maintenance so I'm used to fabricating and modifying stuff.
I also have a 1964 Chrysler 300 drop top and a 1986 s10 with a sbc and od in it.
