Jay: I'll buy those extra strong  15mm pins for my 1982  CB900F SS for my street bike. Whats the part numbers ????

Things to think about :  REV LIMITER, KILL SWITCHED W/LANDYARD, STEERING STABILIZER.......................  after a pass that was 13,000 rpms, 130mph, and a tank slapping run in Georgia Cup race.

Hi Bill, Terry in Australia had a set of those Aussie CBX750 carbs on an 836 kitted Honda he had, he said they were great, very light throttle. If you wish to know more send him a PM...

I used a set of CV carbs off an 84 GPZ900 Ninja when i first built my F Model. Spacing was oh so close. I had to offset grind my boots to make them work but the carbs were in bad shape so i scrapped them for a new set of 36 Mikuni flatslides for the same model bike. They also fit the Yamaha FJ1100/1200's so those CV carbs could be an option as well. Just putting that out there as something to look at in the future for you.

Bill - Paul @ http://www.classicmotorcyclesolution.com/  can make you new ones that will fit.  It (as 2/3 are the same, just flipped) would give you a perfect seal/fit, so no air leaks.

If you saw Sam shaking like i did after his stuck throttle run at the last race, then we both would agree that he's not likely to get on a bike capable of running over 150 mph in the 1/4 mile-lol. Those white leathers would have a funky brown streak from his bummm down to his boots. Don't hurt him Pops. Hahaha.

It wasn't the speed Frank, it was the fact that the fcuking thing didn't want to stop. ;D ;D ;D ;D
I will be going faster than that next month at Alastaro if the ACU get their fingers out.
They are having problems finding out who the sanctioning body is so to get me insurance and permit to race on my UK licence. It's not like in the States (Valdosta) where all licences are and Orgs are accepted, it's all red tape over here. If I were to have an accident and needed treatment, my two lots of medical insurance would cover me. If I were (god forgive) to get killed, re-patriation is astronomical and no one would cover me.
My kids would be bankrupted just flying my sorry ass back home. :o

Sounds like it would be cheaper to just need to throw some gas on you, light a match and then collect the ashes in a small box for mailing. But..... don't even think about letting anything happen because you've got some unfinished business over here with Samauto. Your friends will make you a dang winner inspite of all issues encountered so far.

Be safe my friend!!!!!!!!!

DRAGRACER: It would have been quicker in the 1/8 mile but the front wheel was in the air in 1-2nd gear after 3rd the BUSA [ all motor ] GOT IN THE GAME AND RAN MUCH FASTER THAN 150MPH. = I did this at a track rental [ no license needed  DA was 462'  w/temp. at 65 degrees ] but Sam is a Land Speed racer and can run the big numbers !!!!!  Will put on the smaller throttle bodies an take off the Auto shift for the CUP RACE as you do not get anything for big MPH. My slow TURTLE got 3rd and 1st. after the first two races at my home track [ I was 6 best reaction time with a .043 light = my neck of the woods racers are .01  .02  .03 leavers.

I have the air tank over in my shop to install the filler valve and air pressure gauge
the torque converter went on Monday out to shop to look at what its going to take to give us
a stall speed in the 4500 to 5000 RPM range (He thinks he can do it) so we will see.........
