So can we safely say you have around 700 additional, useable RPMS now?? 2600 before to a pushing 3500 now with 2 people holding levers which means 3300-3400 manageble RPM's against the brake in my opinion.

Not sure what you guys typically do against the brake to launch the bike but it seems advisable to never push so hard against the brake and stall point that you heat the converter up to where it becomes inconsistent.

But then, what the heck do i know with 3 bikes that have slider clutches.

DRAGRACER: You set your two step to just start to pull when you use a slider ...... RIGHT ?  with throttle open up all the way on two step.  Even after the rules say no electronics for ST/ET most bikes add a shift light [ electric ] and a air over [ electric ] shifter and a POWER COMMANDER [ ELECTRIC ]  RIGHT?  then why not a TWO STEP ?????.
The tech at the CUP race was a joke, saw a bike run with NO REAR BRAKES....... GUY  on a 8.90 bike race with a cloth BATES COAT.  You could use two shift lights with one set at the stall speed W/LINE LOCK ON  and the second set at shift RPM = WATCH A GUY DO THAT 18 YEARS AGO on a home built slider on a big motor KZ... WORKED REAL GOOD.

Frank,we think so.I'll wait a little longer before I decide for sure.the hotter it got the more it seemed to spin up.....90-100 degrees @2800rpm,120-130 degrees ,3100,150-160,3500+?.Gotta go to Commerce.Need to make some runs, get linelock, lots to do,but encouraging and a step in the right direction! Bill, sounds like a winner. Very encouraging news for the home team.

Pops, i turn the two step up just enough for the bike to creep against the stall and then turn it back down 200rpms so the bike won't move. Don't want to burn up the clutches or have to much delay before the clutch locks up.
